“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.” – 2 Peter 2: 19

Have you become a slave to your misguided rage and hate?

13 “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty;  only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  14For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this:  “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  15But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!” – Galatians 5: 13-15

Are you Free yet still held in bondage to your past?  Your anger and misdeads will devour you and become the acid of your attitude.

38 ‘ “These twenty years I have been with you; your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried their young, and I have not eaten the rams of your flock.  39That which was torn by beasts I did not bring to you; I bore the loss of it.  You required it from my hand, whether stolen by day or stolen by night.  40There I was!  In the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night, and any sleep departed from my eyes.  41Thus I have been in your house twenty years; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.  42 Unless the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty handed.  God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night.” ‘ – Genesis 31: 38-42

The Lord is good and wants the best for you.  God has given you skills and talent to benefit you.  A joyful person is one who works.

10 ‘And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guest have well drunk, then that which is inferior; but you have kept the good wine until now.”  11This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.’ – John 2: 10-11

Gods wants you to believe in yourself.  Find your passion and your life will be filled with excitement.

1 ‘ “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!”  Says your God.  2“Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.” ‘ – Isaiah 40: 1-2

If you are a non believer, God still has His eye on you and wants only the best for you.  The next time you feel troubled talk to God, his line is never busy.
